Mr. Pierce attended Vance-Granville Community College where he earned an Associate’s degree in Business Administration and Management. He later attended Concordia University-Irvine graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Operations. He is certified as a Food Safety HACCP Manager by Pilgrim's.

With more than 35 years of experience in the field, Mr. Pierce began his career as a Complex Manager at West Liberty Foods where he notes he oversaw raw fabrication and a slicing facility of 10 slice lines; 

worked the supply chain; and logistics and distribution. He worked there from 2016-2019 leaving that position in 2019 to be a Plant Operations Director for Allen Harim Foods. He explained that he led a facility from bottom of the barrel to an 8-position improvement within a year, turning a 1-million-dollar weekly loss to a $25k profit. From that successful position, Mr. Pierce moved to Daily’s Premium Meats serving as a Plant Operations Director from 2020-2022, he worked as Plant Operations Director at Daily's Premium Meats. He is currently Vice President of Operations at Thomas Food International where he is involved in aspects of productions; management; imports; warehousing; operations as well as daily meetings for receiving production.

Considered an expert in leadership and management, Mr. Pierce also serves in numerous leadership positions including the Governor's Roundtable in 2020 and is a member of the Board of Directors of Utah Manufacturers Association. The business professional is also involved in many professional social media platforms and is a LinkedIn contributor and influencer. Recognized for his excellence in the field, Mr. Pierce was voted as a Large Business of the Year by the Utah Manufactures Association in 2019 and 2020.

Looking to the future, Mr. Pierce hopes to work his way to COO and then CEO of a company by his standards. He believes that the key to his success is dedication and hard work. He is most proud of building strong teams for more than 30 years, being a Veteran in the U.S. Navy, working his way from the bottom to his current position and owning a rustic prairie box meat and delivering that meat to Trible members.
