about treating each patient holistically, she provides services aimed to
promote physical and mental health. She

management and dementia. She offers dementia support groups for her patients
and families. She states, “As a nursing leader, we must teach and improve the health
of our patients, families, and communities”.
Beginning her education as a student at the University of Northern Colorado,

spirit to her father. His tragic death in 2015 taught her to reach for her
dreams and act on them, as we never know when our time is up on this earth.
In her free time, Ms.
Bickels enjoys baking and spending time with family and friends.
