FACS, is being recognized by Continental
Who’s Who as a Top Surgeon in the field of Medicine as a Neurosurgeon at the
American Neurospine Institute, PLLC.
With two locations in North Texas, the American Neurospine
Institute’s mission is to provide individualized and state-of-the-art spine
patient care. The providers and staff aim to save patient’s lives and make
treatment and recovery a smooth process by thoroughly listening, examining the
cause of symptoms, educating patients, and suggesting potentially life-saving
therapies and treatment plans. They treat a wide array of conditions, such as
adjacent segment disease, annular tear, facet disease, foraminal narrowing,
kyphosis, leg pain, headaches, sciatica, spinal stenosis, and more. Treatment
options include computer-assisted surgery, facet block injection, foraminotomy,
fusion, kyphoplasty, physical therapy, and more.
Fellowship-trained and board-certified, Dr. Panchal is an expert at managing
spinal disorder. Dedicated to his patients, he feels that there is always more
that can be done to help them. Before he moved to Texas, he served as the
Director of the Spine Fellowship Program and an Assistant Professor for the
Department of Neurological Surgery at University of California Davis School of
Medicine for five years.
To prepare for his career, Dr. Panchal attended Des Moine University for a
Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine degree. He trained as a Resident at the
Arrowhead Regional Medical Center and a Fellow at the Davis School of Medicine.
Remaining aware of changes in his field, Dr. Panchal maintains affiliations
with the AO Spine Foundation, North American Spine Society, Congress of
Neurological Surgeons, Scoliosis Research Society, and Sigma Sigma Phi.
Dr. Panchal has received numerous awards and recognitions for his success,
including the Compassionate Caregiver Award in 2019, GME High Value Award in
2017, Teaching in Excellence Award in 2015, Medical Writing Award in 2011,
Research Paper Competition Award in 2010, etc.
In his spare time, Dr. Panchal enjoys spending time with his family and
friends. He has also volunteered in India for the Scoliosis Research Society’s
mission trip with Operation Straight Spine.
