ROBERT E. CONE - PROFESSOR OF IMMUNOLOGY

Robert E. Cone Ph.D. is recognized by Continental Who’s Who for being an outstanding professor of Immunology at the University of Connecticut Health Center; he shows expertise in research, teaching, public speaking and seminars.  Dr. Cone directs research in the regulation of immunology and is an exceptional professor teaching immunology and biomedical science to medical, dental and graduate students.  His career accomplishments include Immunology Graduate Program Director, Yale University, University of Connecticut Health Care Center and NIH awardee.

He has a proven record in the community as a member of Connecticut commission of medical legal investigation. Continental Who’s Who commends Robert E. Cone on his 149 publications in scientific journals and books.  He holds honors and awards with the National Eye Institute, FG Novy Fellow, and Research grants from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease.  Robert E. Cone is affiliated and a member of the American Association of the Advancement of Science (AAAS), Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO), American Association of Immunologists (AAI), Sigma Xi and the New York Academy of Science.

Robert E. Cone PHD shows his achievement in his education by obtaining his BS from Brooklyn College, Brooklyn, NYC 1960-1964, Florida State University, Tallahassee, FL 1964-1967 where he earned his Master’s degree, he continued to be among those of highest standards by receiving his Doctorate at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, in 1970. He proclaims his mentors as people from Dr. Anne Pates, Dr. Arthur G. Johnson to Dr. (Sir) G.J.V. Nossal and remains true to his philosophy  “To care and have compassion for others, sincerity and truth” and expresses his goal to develop treatment for autoimmune diseases.

On Dr. Cones free time he enjoys vacationing in the Canadian Rockies and Alaska, as well engages in photography, watercolor painting, music and archeology.  In sum, Robert E. Cone Ph.D. is applauded by Continental Who’s Who for his accomplishments, affiliations and his personal philosophy showing his excellence in educating, researching and serving humanity on numerous levels.
