With nearly 20 years of experience, Sahar Avestimehr, MD, is a top professional in the field of internal medicine. For the past six years, Dr. Avestimehr has served as the Medical Director of Embrace Hospice in San Antonio, TX. The doctor treats patients in the final stages of life in her current role, providing medical care with compassionate attention and ensuring their comfort. She works diligently to educate her patients and their families about preparing for death. She supervises seven physicians and medical staff in her administrative functions and reviews medical charts and patient progress details. She also attends meetings regarding patient care.

On a personal note, the doctor has been married to Mr. Ali Seifi for 23 years, and they have one son.
