Shah Shahroozi has built a distinguished international career in project management and business development marked by technical excellence, strategic leadership, and a deep commitment to mentorship. With more than 45 years in the industry, he is widely respected for his ability to guide complex projects, strengthen client relationships, and deliver innovative solutions across diverse global markets.
Mr. Shahroozi joined Fluor Corporation in 1981 as an engineer, where he developed deep expertise in electrical control systems engineering while supporting major projects within the energy and chemical sectors. His ability to manage complex systems and resolve technical challenges quickly earned early recognition and laid the foundation for a long and successful career with the firm.
In 1985, Mr. Shahroozi expanded his professional experience by joining Morton Thiokol Inc. as a facility engineer supporting space and defense programs. Though brief, this role proved highly impactful, providing valuable exposure to the aerospace sector and further strengthening his technical insight and professional network.
He returned to Fluor Corporation in 1986 and transitioned into roles supporting a wide range of industries, excelling in project management across projects of varying size and complexity. Over time, his leadership, client focused approach, and strategic vision led to his promotion to executive project director. In this role, Mr. Shahroozi has been instrumental in driving business growth, sustaining long term client partnerships, and mentoring professionals to support their career development.
Mr. Shahroozi has played key roles in several landmark initiatives. He supported a startup company in successfully entering the market through a large scale commercial biotechnology project in South Korea. His contributions were also central to supporting Samsung and Lotte Biologics in establishing their large scale biologics projects market entry, which ultimately evolved into Samsung Biologics, now recognized as a global industry leader and lotte biologics. Additionally, he played a pivotal role in BHP Billiton’s mega mining project by introducing large scale modular pre assembly, with modules constructed in China and shipped to Western Australia, demonstrating the feasibility of this innovative approach and setting new efficiency standards in the mining sector.
Mr. Shahroozi earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering with a focus on aerospace from the Florida Institute of Technology in 1980 and later completed a Master of Science in merger acquisition and contract management from the same institution online program in 2004. He holds certification as a project management professional from the Project Management Institute and a certificate of mastery in agile project management. He is also a licensed professional engineer in Utah and South Carolina.
Known for his strong problem solving abilities, Mr. Shahroozi has repeatedly stabilized complex initiatives by identifying practical solutions and guiding projects back on track. His work reflects a deep appreciation for global collaboration, with experience spanning North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia.
Outside of his professional career, Mr. Shahroozi has been happily married for 45 years and is immensely proud of his three children and three grandchildren.
