Throughout her illustrious career, she has developed a reputation for creating unique roomscapes that have a timeless quality, and are based on sound design principles rather than on trends. Shaila’s designs have earned her awards and she has continuously been sought after as a source of design knowledge and talent. Shaila is an award-winning designer who loves to inspire others and to share her passion for design. To that end, she has written a monthly column for JTO magazine, addressed groups of students and conducted seminars for both professionals and lay people.
