Cleveland, OH/ Continental Who’s Who/- Susan B. LeGrand, M.D., FACP, FAAHPM, is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Healthcare. Dr. LeGrand is an Oncologist and Palliative Medicine specialist at Cleveland Clinic.

Founded in 1921 as a nonprofit multispecialty academic medical center, the Cleveland Clinic combines clinical care with research and education and has over five million patient visits per year.

Dr. LeGrand has over twenty five years of experience. She has been at the Cleveland Clinic for eighteen years and prior to the clinic, she was in a solo oncology practice in North Carolina. Her current areas of focus include breast oncology and palliative medicine. 

Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology as well as Hospice and Palliative Medicine, Dr. LeGrand is an esteemed Fellow of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine and the American College of Physicians. 

A member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, Dr. LeGrand has authored and co-authored countless articles and chapters on palliative medicine and supportive care in cancer. With that being said, she is a frequent lecturer and guest speaker on these subjects on both a national and international level. 

The recipient of 2008-2009 and 2011-2012 Teacher of The Year, Dr. LeGrand earned her Medical degree from University of South Carolina School of Medicine. Following her M.D., she completed her Internship at the University of Texas and Fellowship at the University of Arizona Cancer Center. Dr. LeGrand initially began her educational career with her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of South Carolina, graduating Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
