NY – Thomas Conrad Aiello, MD, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as

PC and Eye Institute of Central N.J. P.C.
Dr. Thomas Aiello is a board-certified
Ophthalmologist and a Visx Certified Laser Surgeon. He is the Medical Director
at Aiello Eye Care Associates, PC, and founder of the Eye
Institute of Central N.J. P.C. His clinic specializes in Laser Vision Correction of
Myopia, Hyperopia, and Astigmatism using the revolutionary LASIK
procedure. Dr. Aiello has more than 25 years’
experience in the field with his areas of focus being Premium Cataract Surgery
with the use of advanced technology intraocular lenses for the correction of Presbyopia
and minimally invasive surgical techniques for the treatment of Glaucoma.
To
prepare himself for his successful career, he went to college for his Bachelor
of Arts at the University of Virginia; following his studies he received his
Medical Degree at SUNY Downstate where he also completed his residency. He then
went on to become Chief of Residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center. Dr.
Aiello is a second-generation Ophthalmologist, following in the footsteps of
both of his parents, Michael V. Aiello, M.D., and Maria T. Aiello, M.D., both
well-known members of the New York ophthalmic community. Among his
achievements, Dr. Aiello is a past president of the Union County (NJ) Medical
Society; and, member to several professional organizations such as the American
Board of Ophthalmology, American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of
Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) and American College of Eye
Surgeons.
Outside
of his professional life, Dr. Thomas Aiello enjoys
spending time with his four children by attending their numerous athletic
events, cooking and tending to his garden. He also supports many children’s
charities, including St Jude’s, Feed the Children, and Save the Children.
This
honorable recognition is dedicated to his beloved sons Matthew, Alexander,
Joshua, and Christian.
