With more than 63 years of professional communications experience, Mr. Preston is an innovator of crisis prevention and response within the Public Relations field. He specializes in preventing or responding to public relations issues related to violence, false rumors, and branding disruptions. He offers a wealth of knowledge and superior skill when it comes to protecting and preserving the brand equity of his clients, which include major corporations, institutions, professional service organizations, and high-profile individuals.

Mr. Preston is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ForeseeNow, a Preston Global company that expertly handles crisis management through counseling, strategic planning, and action plan implementation. Mr. Preston and his highly experienced professionals work diligently to protect each client’s reputation and integrity with utmost confidentiality and trust.

In pursuit of his education, Mr. Preston earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Kentucky in Lexington. He additionally completed special studies sponsored by the U.S. Army War College National Security Program at the University of Washington Graduate School.

A native of Carrollton, KY, and a U.S. Army Veteran, Mr. Preston founded his public relations business in 1968 in Lexington, KY. What first began as a one-person, two-client firm has grown into a world-renowned consulting firm known as Preston Global. In addition to his numerous businesses and consulting firms, Mr. Preston previously held multiple state and federal appointments, including the executive director of Kentucky Homeland Security. He has also served as an adjunct professor and public speaker.

In honor of his long and distinguished career, Mr. Preston was inducted into the University of Kentucky’s Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame in 2021. He was presented the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award for Public Relations by the U.K. School of Journalism and Telecommunications in 2000.

Mr. Preston is now a resident of Murfreesboro, TN, which is part of the Nashville metropolitan area of Middle Tennessee.
