TIFFANY NEGRON - RESTAURANT OWNER AND ENTREPRENEUR

Union, NJ – Tiffany Negron is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Top Owner and Entrepreneur for her success as the Owner of El Lechon de Negron.

 

New Jersey residents looking to dine on fine Puerto Rican cuisine need look no further than El Lechon de Negron, owned and operated by Ms Negron. Located in two locations and two food trucks, the restaurant serves authentic, fresh foods such as empanadas, pig roast, mofongo, pastele (seasonal), Cubanos, morcillas, and for dessert, tres leches, flancocho, limber, and arroz con leche. The two brick-and-mortar stores are located at 1331 Magie Ave. in Union, NJ, and 25 East Main Street in Denville, NJ. They offer delivery through Uber Eats, Door Dash, and Grubhub, or directly through the restaurant at 908-577-6229.

 

Ms. Negron began her journey into the food industry when she started waitressing at age 15, and found her passion for working with people and bonding over excellent food. She was inspired by her first time ever using her food truck in 2013, when she, her father, and her friends served free food to the victims of Hurricane Sandy in Union Beach, New Jersey. This formative event made her realize that she wanted to serve people and make them happy with food. Over the years, she expanded her knowledge, working as a waitress, bartender, and manager. She opened El Lechon de Negron in 2016 with a grand event attended by over 200 people and three mayors from surrounding towns for a ribbon cutting. Their signature food is slow-roasted pork shoulder. Ms. Negron’s mottos are “Life without Puerto Rican food is like no life at all” and “You’re sure to leave our restaurant both full and satisfied.”

 

In her current capacity as owner of El Lechon de Negron, Ms. Negron cooks, manages employees, keeps track of inventory, handles accounts payable, books catering, and contacts customers in regards to reviews.

 

Awards for her illustrious career include winning food truck competitions, being recognized as Business of the Month by the city of Union, and El Lechon de Negron being named one of the Top 25 Puerto Rican Restaurants in the United States by BIG 7 Travel in 2019 and 2020. Ms. Negron attributes her success to her hard work, long hours put in, and never giving up.
