Board-certified nephrologist, Dr. Anand has garnered 15 years serving the patients of Greene and Dutchess counties. He has extensive experience studying normal kidney functions and kidney diseases, and the preservation of kidney health. With that, he can diagnose and treat kidney disease and managing hypertension from diet to prescribing the proper medication to renal replacement therapy to dialysis, fluid, and electrolyte replacement.
An academic scholar, Dr. Anand had an opportunity to study abroad in India, where he earned his Medical Degree from Grant Medical College. Soon thereafter, he relocated to the United States to further his training. Upon his return to the United States, Dr. Anand completed a residency in Internal Medicine with the Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn in New York followed by his fellowship in nephrology at the Westchester County Medical Center in Valhalla. He is board-certified in both nephrology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He continues to stay up-to-date with the latest developments as a member of the Columbia County Medical Society.
Outside of his everyday responsibilities, Dr. Anand enjoys kayaking and construction in his free time.
